PGF Veyx forte

PGF Veyx forte – a drug in the form of an injection solution
designed to regulate reproductive functions in cows,
obstetric care, treatment of functional disorders of the ovaries, endometritis,
pyometritis, termination of pregnancy in fetal pathology. Contains as
an active ingredient cloprestenol sodium salt 0.263 mg/cm3 (equivalent to 0.250
mg of cloprostenol).
Cloprostenol belongs to the group of prostaglandins – F2a agonists. Renders
luteolytic effect on yellow and persistent yellow ovarian bodies,
normalizes the functional state of the ovaries, causing estrus and ovulation
of follicles. In addition, cloprostenol has a reducing effect on smooth
muscles (uterus, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, vascular
system)..
PGF Vakes® forte is used in cows in the absence of sexual hunting, with
pyometritis in the case of progesterone-induced blockade of the reproductive cycle, with
endometritis to restore endometrial function (in combination with
antibacterial drugs), to induce abortion before the 120th day
of pregnancy; with fetal mummification; to stimulate childbirth.

Application: intramuscularly or subcutaneously at a dose of 2.0 cm3 / head (0.5 mg
of cloprostenol, respectively).
To synchronize sexual hunting in cows, PGF Vakes® forte is administered in the same dose two
three times with an interval of 11 days.
For the treatment of luteal or persistent yellow bodies, the drug is administered intramuscularly
or subcutaneously at a dose of 2.0 cm3 / head (0.5 mg of cloprostenol, respectively).
In the absence of luteolysis of the corpus luteum, established during subsequent
rectal examination, the drug is re-administered at the same dose 5-7 days after
the first administration
