Hypophysin LA Veyx – – a drug in the form of an injection solution
designed to stimulate labor and prevent endometritis in cows (in
case of prolonged labor caused by uterine hypotension; delayed afterbirth; to empty
the uterine cavity in case of incomplete removal of products of labor; for
opening of the cervix; to regulate breast output). As an active
ingredient, it contains a synthetic derivative of the natural hormone of the hypothalamus
oxytocin – carbetocin (1-deamino-1-monocarba-2-(O-methyl)-tyrosine oxytocin) in
an amount of 0.07 mg / cm3.
Carbetocin enhances uterine contraction during the first stages of labor, stimulates
breast production.
